Privacy Policy — Evolution Runner

Effective date: 23 August 2026 Last updated: 23 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Evolution Runner (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. It applies to the version of the App distributed on Apple’s App Store.

Developer: The Evolution Runner Team Contact: stuart@johnsonsca.com

Summary

Your game progress (username, scores, coins, unlocked items) is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. We run no servers and use no analytics.
The App shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect certain device information, described below. This is the only data that leaves your device.
You can purchase “Remove Ads Forever”. The payment is processed entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. After purchase, the App shows no ads and the advertising data collection described below no longer occurs.

Information stored on your device only

To let you play, the App saves the following locally on your device (in the App’s private storage). This information is not transmitted to us or anyone else:

A username you optionally choose (used only to label your own scores).
Your game progress: high scores, distances, coins, and unlocked skins, pets, and items.
Your in-app settings (such as sound and music preferences).
A randomly generated identifier created on your device to tag your local save file. It is not linked to your identity and is not transmitted.

Deleting the App removes all of this data. We cannot access, recover, or delete it for you, because we never receive it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unless you have purchased Remove Ads, the App displays interstitial advertisements using Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google. When an ad is requested, the Google Mobile Ads SDK operating inside the App may collect and share with Google:

Device identifiers — including the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), where your iOS settings permit it, and/or an app-scoped identifier (IDFV).
IP address — which may imply an approximate (city-level) location.
Device and app information — such as device model, operating system version, language, and the App’s bundle identifier.
Ad interaction data — such as which ads were shown and whether they were viewed or tapped, used for ad delivery, frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention.

This collection is performed by Google under its own privacy terms. We do not receive this data ourselves. For details of how Google uses it, see:

Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Your controls:

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): iOS controls whether apps may access your device’s advertising identifier for tracking. You can manage this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If access is not granted, ads may still be shown but will not use the IDFA.
Personalised ads: depending on your region and device settings, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. You can limit personalisation via your device settings and your Google ad settings (https://adssettings.google.com).
Remove ads entirely: purchasing Remove Ads Forever in the App’s store permanently disables advertising — and with it, the advertising data collection described above.

Purchases

The App offers one real-money purchase, Remove Ads Forever, plus in-game items bought with virtual coins earned by playing:

The real-money purchase is processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your name, card number, or any payment details. Your entitlement can be restored on a new device via “Restore Purchases”, handled by Apple.
Virtual coins and in-game items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money. Crate (“loot box”) odds are disclosed in the in-game store.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect, request, or have access to: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, payment details, or any analytics or behavioural profile held by us. We run no servers and receive no gameplay data.

Children’s privacy

Evolution Runner is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is served by Google under its policies; if you believe a child has used the App and wish to raise a concern, contact us at the address below and consult your device’s parental controls, which can disable tracking and restrict purchases.

Your rights

Because we do not hold any personal data about you, requests for access, correction, export, or deletion of data held by us have nothing to operate on — all game data is on your device and can be removed by deleting the App. For data collected by Google in connection with advertising, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy above; you can also reset your device’s advertising identifier at any time in your iOS settings. If you are in the UK/EEA and have questions about how your data is processed in connection with the App, contact us and we will assist.

Future features

If a future update introduces features that send additional data off your device — for example, an online leaderboard (which would submit your chosen username and score) — this Privacy Policy and the App’s App Store privacy information will be updated before those features are enabled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by a notice within the App.
